Closing of the Holy Door

Edward Hopper

The Vittoriano presents an exhibition dedicated to the celebrated American artist Edward Hopper (1882-1967) whose paintings provided anecdotal insights into the day-to-day banality of American culture. The show spans Hopper’s entire career, from early Parisian watercolours to later urban scenes of New York, focusing on his techniques and draftsmanship.
